As part of i4Policy’s new work on Towards Just(er) Digital Governance, in partnership with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, we are looking for an Africa Network Mobilization Lead to join our team.

This person will play a critical role in identifying, mobilising, onboarding and supporting civil society organisations from across Africa participating in our programme on participatory governance for AI. We are looking for someone who can build trusted relationships, sustain engagement across a diverse network, and help create a strong community among participating organisations.

We are particularly interested in someone who knows African civil society ecosystems and can connect organisations already working directly on AI, digital governance, digital rights, data governance and civic technology with perspectives from fields such as environmental justice, labour rights, gender equality, human rights, education, youth and social justice.

We are looking especially for people with experience in stakeholder mobilisation, field building, networking, community building or programme coordination, combined with a strong understanding of African civil society networks.
